Mike Fogelsanger for Sycamore City Council

My Positions

  • Essential city services should come before non-essential building projects.
  • Property taxes should be re-assessed downward if property values decrease.
  • Sycamore is a growing community and will continue to grow.   That growth must be planned for wisely.
  • Senior residents of Sycamore should not live in fear of being taxed out of their homes.

I will never have the proper words to express my gratitude to all the people who helped me, voted for me, and supported me throughout this campaign.  You paid me your highest compliment by believing in me and my message of common-sense government.

For now, we lost the battle, but the war is far from over.  As Chuchill once said, "...never give in, never, never, never, never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.  Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

We can't, and I won't.
